What is Business Activity Code?
A standardised code that classifies the commercial activities a UAE company is licensed to perform, selected when applying for or amending a trade licence with the relevant economic department or free zone authority. The chosen activities shape permitted operations, approvals and sometimes tax treatment. Carrying on an unlicensed activity can cause problems, so confirm codes with your licensing authority.
