A document confirming that a product meets the applicable UAE technical regulations and standards, often required for regulated goods to be imported or sold. It is typically issued under a conformity-assessment scheme overseen by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA, now part of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology). Requirements depend on the product category.
