What is Free Cash Flow?
The cash a business generates from operations after deducting the capital expenditure needed to maintain or grow its asset base. It represents cash available to repay debt, pay dividends or reinvest, and is widely used to assess financial health and the quality of reported earnings beyond accounting profit.
