What is Import Code?
A unique customs client identifier issued to a registered UAE business that allows it to clear imported and exported goods through customs. Often called the customs code, it is tied to the trade licence and must be kept valid for shipments to be processed. It is issued by the relevant emirate's customs authority, so confirm the application and renewal with the relevant authority.
