What is Memorandum Amendment?
A change to a UAE company's memorandum of association, the founding document that sets out ownership, capital, activities and management. Amendments are needed for events such as adding shareholders, transferring shares, changing capital or activities, and usually require a shareholder resolution, notarisation for mainland LLCs and updating the licence with the relevant authority.
