What is VAT Return?
A periodic report a VAT-registered business files with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA), usually quarterly or monthly, summarising output VAT charged on sales and input VAT incurred on purchases. The difference is the net VAT payable or refundable. Returns are filed and paid through EmaraTax. Confirm your filing period and deadlines with the FTA.
