What is Enterprise Value?
A measure of a company's total value to all providers of capital, calculated as market capitalisation plus net debt and other claims such as minority interests, less cash and cash equivalents. It represents the cost of acquiring the whole business and is widely used in valuation multiples because it is independent of capital structure.
