What is Tax Agent?
A person registered with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) who is authorised to act on a taxpayer's behalf in dealings with the FTA, such as filing returns, responding to queries and managing audits. Tax agents must meet qualification and registration requirements. Appointing one is optional but can help with compliance. Confirm the current rules with the FTA.
