What is Tax Clarification Request?
A formal application made to the UAE Federal Tax Authority asking how the tax law should be applied to a specific situation. If accepted, the FTA issues a private clarification addressed to the applicant. Requests usually require supporting facts and a fee, and they are not a substitute for filing.
